I’m so glad to be done with the winter season, so the March color challenge theme is spring! Maybe it’s my old bones, but I like absolutely nothing about winter. It’s too cold. The days are too short. It takes 18 layers of clothes to not feel a chill. Spring and summer are so much better in my book.
I might be cheating just a bit with this month’s challenge. When I was working with a designer last year to update my brand, we worked together to come up with a decidedly spring color scheme. So naturally my palette comes from my brand book! Every time I look at these colors, I get so excited about new blooms and warmer weather ahead.
Are you playing along with my monthly color challenges? Here’s how: use the theme to come up with a color palette or your own (or use mine!) and create a quilt block with it. Near the end of the year, I’ll share two free setting patterns for putting your blocks into a quilt. Make sure you tag your images on Instagram with #loveofthreadcolorchallenge so everyone can see what you made and cheer for you.
If you want to “catch up,” you can find the January and February challenges by clicking on the links. But remember, there is no such thing as “behind” on Team Thread. Everyone goes on their journey at their own pace! See you next month with something special for my birthday month!
